Coir Atlas was created as a sustainable alternative to wood packaging. The composition of bamboo and jute is totally biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
Coir Atlas is a range of products made of bamboo and jute, to replace the wood used for packaging steel for transport. The main product is essentially an imitation wooden log. Other products under development include a bamboo pallets to replace wood pallets and could have wider application beyond the steel industry.
Bamboo is not a tree, is the grass and then its growth is different. Bamboo grows six times faster than wood.
