Electronic tags to follow rubbish.
A part of rubbish is going to to be tracked using electronic tags, as scientist attempt to map the destinations of household waste.
One of the leaders of the Trash Track project,as talked to media saying that Trash is almost an invisible system today. Infact it’s possible to throw something into the garbage and a lot of us don’t care about the destination of the object we retain nothingness. It gets hidden, it gets burned, it gets shipped to other nations.
With small mobile sensors encased in protective resin a MIT team will tag 3,000 pieces of rubbish in cities like New York London, and Seattle These will continuously localized their location to a central server, and the results will be drown a map immediately.
The tags will be connected to all sorts of different rubbish from old electronics to garden waste and will demostrate if the rubbish is being placed in correctly way.
