According to Ecofriend an Indian company has announced its ambitious plan to create the largest industrial park of clean energy in India. More exactly the specialists from Airvoice Group are trying to produce over 13.000 Megawati (MW) of electricity from sustainable sources.
The project which is necessitating an investment of approximately 50 billion dollars is based on the production of wind and solar generated electricity and comes as a very ambitious initiative from a private company in a country
As Sanjay Kapoor , the chairman of the Airvoice Group Company, has declared, 10.000 MW of green energy will be produced with solar panels and 3.000 MW with wind mills. The huge project will be built in the south –east of India in the Karnataka state and it will cover a surface of 202 square kilometers.
Twelve potential sites for the placement of the project have already been taken under analysis in Karnataka and Kapoor declared that the photovoltaic technology will be used for producing the energy there. Also, the company has discovered four districts in Karnataka where the wind farms can be built.
This sustainable energy project will bring coverage for all the energy needs of India and will transform Airvoice group into the largest supplier of green energy in the area.
The first stage of de project which will be finalized in 36 months, presumes the production of 100MW of solar energy and 200MW of solar energy, being gradually followed by a future extension to the production capacity of 13.000 MW.
