The Secret Energy Turbine

The Secret Energy Turbine The importance of wind energy cannot be emphasized enough. We have heard enough about the need for solar, wind and wave energy to name a few of the non conventional energy sources. But it is not enough to just read about such energy sources or agree that we need to make that very important shift to these exciting new technologies and energy sources. It is time to do something and this is what enterprising people like UK inventor Rupert Sweet Escott are out to do. They want to make a credible difference that will help to bring wind energy to the masses and lead to a virtual movement to popularize wind energy.
Rupert’s invention is known as the S.E.T which is the Secret Energy Turbine. The name of the wind turbine seems strange, but it is apt as his new design conceals or camouflages the wind turbine in the form of a chimney. The turbine is strategically placed on the roof of the house and it is painted like bricks on the chimney which makes it look like a chimney. What’s more, this turbine is totally soundless and this is made possible by placing blades that are vertically positioned under the influence of powerful but opposing magnets. This is what makes such wind turbines quite acceptable to housing societies as the earlier wind energy inventions used to be quite noisy and hence a bother.
The advantage of the S.E.T. is that it can take on winds as high as 90 mph, which means that it has quite a high scope of generating a lot of wind energy in windy areas, especially in places that are placed along the coast. These are not only new but very clever and inventive technologies that can change the very scenery and scope of using the wind energy turbines so the private homes will benefit from a reliable source of sustainable energy.
