A design student, 25 years, Anna Bullus already known for creating an optical illusion, stools and sofas that change shape, is now ready to tackle urban deprivation caused by used chewing gum.
Has created a program, characterized gumdrop into 2 parts.
the first baskets always on hand to encourage the disposal of rubber and secondly, a process he invented to make new products of recycled rubber.
Bullus is already working on a pillow that feels like memory foam - and, of course, comes in what looks like a large rubber band:
Currently, the bins are gumdrop pending a larger scale roll-out, and Bullus is already thinking about what other products which could do with rubber that is harvested. Of course it all makes sense economically as Britain spends 230 million dollars a year to remove chewing gum from pavements. That's also why the cans must be everywhere
Bullus started thinking about the recycling of rubber after seeing the sidewalks surrounding his school, Brighton University. Realized that the tire was changed to simply rubber and should therefore be able to be recycled. It took eight months to refine the process of his invention.
Gumdrop for the program, Bullus created bins for bubblegum, which are now scattered across central London.
