Automotive Into Improving Car Energy Consumption

Automotive Into Improving Car Energy Consumption There is a known myth about the hybrid cars that it has been discovered decades ago but not shown to the public because the gas industry dealers stopped it from being made public.
Well, one can never say whether this myth is true; however the hybrid developers do not need to worry anymore about their unwanted and unsold cars due to the rapid increase of gas price that will eventually lead to an equilibrium position between hybrid car and traditional cars costs.
DaimlerChrysler, BMW and General Motors have merged their engineering departments to develop a system which can be adjustable to any kind of vehicles. Most of environment friendly consumers do not prefer hybrid cars because they cannot reach the same high speed like the traditional cars and because of that that, the engineers are looking to develop a system that will allow hybrid cars to be comparable with the traditional ones on the highway.
Also when comparing to the old types of hybrid cars, the newly developed ones are 100% electric. The metal using while developing this new hybrid car is the platinum. However engineers are trying to introduce some other kind of light metal which can be less expensive as a substitute, the main reason being the cost reduction for the hybrid models.
The fuel system of this new car combines hydrogen and oxygen molecules resulting water and in the same time is producing electricity. The DaimlerChrysler’s Full Cell Vehicles and Technology’s engineers reported that the new hybrid cars will not enter the consumer market until 2012.
Perhaps the most powerful strategy of this new type of car is that the hybrid-vehicle technology shuts the internal combustion engine completely when the vehicle stops.
Considering the increasing gas prices and the possibility of changing the platinum metal with a cheaper substitute, hybrid cars are no longer unreachable and will be a more ecological way of personal transportation.
This is how General Motors, BMW and DaimlerChrysler engineers are about to change the course of ecological cars through history.
