Five year phone concept by Nokia

Five year phone concept by Nokia The public interest on issues related to environment makes more and more companies to think in the direction of "green" devices. Nokia is among the most active in this respect, at least in the terms of these ideas. The company presented several conceptual models in the last years and surely it is one of the most environmentally concerned companies on the world map. Nokia was also among the first giants in the industry that was trying to find more ideas that focus preventing the energy loss due to chargers left in the contact. Therefore, the Finns offered its Zero Waste Charger, with this in various versions - a large green charger switch with built-in timer. Their idea surely has a future, since 5% of the energy that chargers are consuming is an absolute waste. Nokia of course had many green concepts and models, but recently they surprised us again. This time the designer James Barber is the reason why Nokia will always hit the first places in the lists of the most environmental- friendly companies.
The designer created another conceptual mobile phone, which can be called a mobile from the future, for it’s made with an innovative approach. While the designer was producing his creation, he found out that, for making one phone that will be used nearly two years, the amount of used energy is almost three times more than the energy which the phone itself will use while in circulation. Therefore, the designer tried to align these quantities. He did it and obviously he is the first designer on earth who is having such successes. Barber used strong resistant materials in the construction of his phone. He included also easily replaceable parts, 85% of which can be recycled. According to the designer, this way the phone will work proper nearly 5 years, which is an amazing result, since he minimized the energy impact of the device and increases the life-time of the mobile phone.
