Greener wireless radio is a cheaper wireless radio

After the discovery of the wireless radio, there has been a significant improvement in the lifestyle of human society. It has made life very easy and many people started using this facility. However, there are some threats related to this discovery. Now let us have a look on the problems associated to the discovery of the wireless radio.
In today’s world the battery powering the wireless radio are generally consuming a lot of unnecessary power even when there are no transmitting or receiving signals. This is very convenient for us but it is very dangerous for the environment. The wireless radio and the Bluetooth are some examples that consume a lot of energy even when they are not in use.
There are some advantages related to the discovery of the wireless radio:
The most important benefit is that it is a kind of wake up receiver that uses a very low power consumption. This can then be synchronized with the radio and can be switched on only when you need the data to be transmitted or when the data needs to be received.
The major players who were behind this discovery are the IMEC and the HOLST centers. They were responsible in building the wireless tower with a concept that is based on double sampling. Double sampling is the idea in which the circuit works during both the phases and hence the frequency will be twice the clock frequency. Hence, from this technique the power consumed will be only 51µW for a wake up call receiver of 2.4GHz.
Future goals:
The radio of 51µW gives a way for advance autonomous system research. The next step is to develop the wireless sensor systems to be powered from the environment rather than using the batteries. These developments will pave a way for future that uses power only from the environment so the improvements will be increasing at a very fast rate.
