A class that uses their classroom to give life to their ideas on how to filter water for rural development in Cambodia.

Their non-standard classroom lends to the creation and presentation of non-standard results. This picture was taken after their first presentation of "rough prototypes" for the entrepreneurial class design for Extreme Affordability. Each team is responsible for designing solutions for the problems for world's poor. Their team is designing a water filter for schools in rural Cambodia.
Visited Cambodia on Spring Break in order to observe the children in their schools and understand their needs for water use.
They found that some of the main challenges include the lifting and transport of water and understanding of microbe transmission, and using a filter to the flow or a hand pump for water.
They tried to find the mode of transport and lifting of water, as a system of pulleys to raise the water following the project of Albert Lai.
We must understand how to reach educational planning, functional and affordable filter.
After about a week's worth of conception and construction has reached the first round of prototypes, as this system of hand washing for rural development, and Africa demonstrated by Mick Kritayakirana Kenneth Chua.
The rooms are spacious d.school and modular, allowing for greater collaboration and co-creation. They built all these prototypes and are trying to figure out which direction to pursue and which must maintain and refine ideas. Using space, have demonstrated the functionality of each design in their presentation, and were able to project the sources of inspiration.
